I asked you guys what you wanted recommendations on as part of the sale, and I got pretty much everything… so I’m sharing my favorite items across the board, so you can give them a go too!

Corrective Primer

A few weeks ago I started using the MAKE UP FOREVER RADIANT PRIMER (the yellow tube) to help even my skin tone before applying foundation. I tend to get pretty red, and the Sephora skin specialist recommended the yellow primer (as opposed to the green), and I’ve loved it! It’s really hydrating and it helps get my skin ready for the next step. You can read more about the various primers and their benefits here.

Foundation

I’m basically obsessed with the CLINQUE EVEN BETTER GLOW foundation. It has such a natural, satin finish with a surprising amount of coverage. Plus, it has an SPF 15 which helps protect you against the sun. It’s my everyday foundation and it’s amazing. Trust me!

Concealer

My everyday concealer routine is a combo of both the MAYBELLINE INSTANT AGE REWIND and the TARTE SHAPE TAPE. The latter touts seriously heavy coverage, so for everyday I use the Maybelline concealer first and just dot the Tarte in a few spots under the eye and to cover up any blemishes. Unfortunately, these two aren’t available at Sephora.com (you may find the Maybelline one in store), so another good option is the NARS RADIANT CREAMY CONCEALER, which is a beautiful brightening concealer providing medium to full coverage.

Blush

My everyday blush is either the MAC EXTRA DIMENSION BLUSH in Hushed Tone (not available at Sephora) or the NARS BLUSH, which I own in a few shades. Just this weekend I ordered another NARS hue—Goulue—a warm berry with gold shimmer (shown on left, next to Seduction, which I own as well). I love the high-intensity pigment and all the colors are just gorgeous.

Bronzer

The HOURGLASS BRONZER is pretty much bronzer heaven. I have the RADIANT BRONZE LIGHT and although this one is a bit pricier, the way it looks is really worth it, plus there’s a mini available if you want to try it out first. It’s a fantastic formula that gives you that perfect warm glow.

Brows

I think brows can make the biggest difference in the way you look. A well-groomed brow can make a HUGE impact. I’m a big fan of several products, but I find myself using the ANASTASIA DIP BROW (in Medium Brown) more than anything else. It allows me to be really precise in shaping my brows and I do insist on using the ANASTASIA BRUSH too (I have the #12) … it’s better than any other brow brush I’ve used.

Shadow Palettes

This is the hardesttttt!!! You guys know how obsessed I am with eye shadow palettes. I love the variety of colors and love to play with different looks. Favorite singles are definitely from MAKEUP GEEK and ANASTASIA, but I’ll mention a couple palettes I use A LOT that are good for pretty much everyone. The first is the ANASTASIA MODERN RENAISSANCE PALETTE. It’s a cult favorite, most everyone has this one. Fourteen shades in neutral to berry tones. It really is a must have. The second palette I’ve been using tons is the URBAN DECAY NAKED HEAT, in fact, the more I use it, the more I love it. It’s perfect for Fall and the colors are so pigmented and blendable. Make sure to use a lid primer too.

Highlighter

I’ve tried quite a few highlighters and I keep going back to the BECCA SHIMMERING SKIN PERFECTOR in CHAMPAGNE POP—a soft white gold with pink peach undertones. It gives you a beautiful, warm radiance. If you’re new to highlighting, make sure to sweep just above the cheekbone and a little to the side.

Eyeliner

I have tried about two gazillion eyeliners because I am legit obsessed with the winged eye. My favorite so far has been the KAT VON D TATTOO LINER. It stays put and makes it a lot easier to draw a neat, dark black line. I love it hard.

Lipstick

I have three brands of lipsticks I regularly wear: JOUER, KYLIE COSMETICS and ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS. The latter is the one you can find at Sephora. I love the formula, the colors and the fact that they last most of the day… I usually reapply just once. Some of my favorites are: Dusty Rose, Trust Issues and Sad Girl. I also ordered the mini set, which is on this week’s GIFT GUIDE!

Setting Spray

So important! If you’re not using setting spray, you must start asap! Once I’m done with all the things, I mist this all over my face and my makeup stays put from 7 am to 7 pm.

Splurge On…

If you want to find something to splurge on, THIS is the time to pick up the famed Natasha Denona palettes. They are crazy expensive, but everyone says they are the best, creamiest shadows ever. So with the discount, now may be the perfect time to get one of these! I ordered the Star Palette… gah!!!! It was impossible to decide because they are all so gorgeous!
