Back To School, Back To The Grind: 6 Things To Get You Ready

So I don’t know about you all, but I am counting down the days until my kids go back to school and the schedule goes back to normal. That first day, I celebrate with abandon, ready to attack all things work- and life-related with gusto. So whether you’re back to it at home or in the office, I thought I would give us adults our own back-to-school list, the things we need as epic girl bosses.

Kate Spade Marybeth leather tote with removable laptop sleeve

This bag is everything!!! I picked it up during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale on a whim and have been using it daily. The laptop sleeve and compartment is incredibly convenient and functional, and on top of that I love that it’s a handbag through and through. So when I’m on the go or working from a coffee shop, I don’t have to be the girl with a million bags… I just need this super stylish number, worth the investment.

Michael Kors leather phone case for iphone

I own several of these cases, now including this one. So perfect for everyday use with functional card holders and a little bit of sophistication with the beautiful Saffiano leather. I’m in love with this dark plum color which I think is perfect for fall.

Karinta bootie

Okay, so I know I’ve posted about this bootie before—that should tell you something. I have the black color and I LOVE THEM. They make me feel tall with its stacked heel, which also means it’s comfy. The detail in the front makes it striking and overall, this is a great way to dress up a casual weekday look.

Leith shawl collar cardigan

Let me get it out of the way now—I’m a cardigan junkie. I feel comfy, cozy and very me when I’m wearing one and that’s why you’ll see me in them all through fall. This one is my new fave. I picked it up in both olive and red (which is really more like a soft rust color). I love that they’re long, which gives it a cooler edge and the shawl collar makes it feel even cozier.

Erin Condren planner

I’ve been using an EC planner for many years. Without my planner, I’d be utterly lost. I love how much more customizable the planners have become… you can choose the color of coil, change out covers, and pick what layout you prefer inside. There are a couple sizes and now they have a hardbound planner too. And oh boy, just start looking at all the different stickers and fun options you can add!

Rosé all day

Girl, pick yourself up a bottle of rosé! You deserve it. You’ve conquered summer. Soon, you’ll be able to walk to your car without sweat streaming down your back, rocking your day with your kickass booties, your KS tote with your planner tucked inside. And if you’re a parent, you’ll need it, because we all know the kids will be coming back from school with about 100 pages we need to read through, sign and send back with a check (sigh). So yes, get yourself some rosé… my advice is to look for the dry ones.

Cheers, friends!
