Vilma’s Book Blog Turns 2 Years Old!

Today is my birthday and I feel a mixture of awe and gratitude and total shock. I can’t believe two years ago I decided to create a Facebook page and call it a book blog. I didn’t know a single author. Didn’t know any bloggers. Didn’t know what I needed to do. All I knew is that I loved books and I loved to write and maybe someone, probably only my best friend and my sister, would find some of my thoughts on books useful. So shock… yeah. Two years and twenty thousand Facebook likes, way more if you count blog views and subscribers, it’s just nutty and fabulous. I never would have imagined that the blog I created would morph into a vibrant, positive community of people I’ve grown to care for deeply. I’ve met so many new people. I’ve made lifelong friendships. I’ve had once-in-a-lifetime opportunities. And I’ve read more books than I can remember.

I’m incredibly grateful for these past two years.
