8 Wines Under $15

With Thanksgiving this week, Christmas around the corner and a plethora of parties and get-togethers in between, I thought it would be timely to share some of my favorite wines under $15. Feel free to comment below with some of your faves!

19 Crimes Red Blend

Aged in 100% American Oak, this blend of Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Grenache from South Eastern Australia is probably our favorite go-to red.  Bold with berry flavors, vanilla notes and medium tannins. Also try: 19 Crimes The Banished Dark Red if you find it!

Spellbound Petit Sirah

This is another juicy go-to for us with notes of blackberries, blueberries and vanilla. It’s very delish and well liked by everyone.

Petite Petit

85% Petite Sirah and 15% Petit Verdot, this rich, full-bodied wine is a favorite of many with black fruit and vanilla flavors.

Apothic Red Blends

All the Apothic wines are pretty yummy and I love the Apothic Dark, Apothic Red Blend, Apothic Crush and the Apothic Inferno. The Apothic Dark Red Blend has notes of blueberry, blackberry, vanilla, coffee and dark chocolate. Apothic Inferno is aged in whiskey barrels and has a spicier flavor profile. You basically can’t go wrong with any of them.

Pascual Toso Malbec

Very clean and drinkable wine—oaky with notes of blackberry, licorice, plum and vanilla.

Starborough Sauvignon Blanc

From the Marlborough region of New Zealand, this has been our new favorite white with hints of passion fruit, guava and kiwi, it’s a delish crisp wine.

Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc

Fresh, juicy and vibrant with ripe, tropical fruit flavors: passion fruit, melon, and grapefruit.

La Marca Prosecco (Sparkling Wine)

We keep going back to this prosecco time and time again. Fresh and clean with flavors of lemon, green apple and grapefruit framed by mineral undertones. So yummy, you’ll want to grab more than one bottle.

Vilma, After reading these wine suggestions, I picked up the Starborough and the Kim Crawford and loved both! I also had a new neighbor over for a glass and she likes reds, so I hope to pick up some more when we have wine night next month! Thanks for the suggestions!
