Beauty Faves Roundup

Beauty Faves Roundup

It’s been awhile since I posted a roundup of recent beauty faves, so it’s due time to share some of what I’m loving lately!

Vintner’s Daughter Serum (review) is a fairly new-to-me product I can’t stop reaching for. This multi-correctional oil is infused with nutrient-rich botanicals to renew, repair, protect and tone skin. It smells like heaven and my skin has been looking smooth, even and so healthy lately. I’m attributing it to this one product and although pricey, it really seems to give me results. I use it both morning and night. A couple other faves (sans the high price tag) include: Mad Hippie Antioxidant Facial Oil // Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate // Origins Night-A-Mins Skin Refining Oil.

Drunk Elephant B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum is the start to my skincare regimen morning and night. It’s lightweight and absorbs into my skin like a much-needed drink of water. I find it’s the perfect product to wake up my skin and help the products that follow sink in and do their thing.

Drunk Elephant A-Passioni has been my go-to retinol lately. I use it daily (morning or night) to help diminish the look of fine lines, wrinkles and sun damage/hyperpigmentation. Formulated with one percent vegan retinol, I haven’t found it to be drying or irritating. Those with sensitive skin may consider using it only once or twice a week to start.

Kosas Tinted Face Oil (review) is my new alternative to my tried-and-true Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer. It has more coverage that the latter, although still in the light-to-medium coverage side of the spectrum. I try and keep my skincare regimen simple when I plan to use it, so it goes on smoothly. My shade is 3 (light with neutral undertones).

Hourglass Scattered Light Glitter Eye Shadows (review) are back in heavy rotation now that I’m craving a more natural, Spring-y look. Quickly and easily applied with a swipe of the finger, these gorgeous shadows give your eyelid a subtle but shimmery look. I especially love the shades Reflect, Blaze and Smoke.

Natasha Denona Bloom Blush and Glow Palette is a stunning blush and highlighter combo, but I find that I love using it for a beautiful, peachy eye shadow. I also use the darker berry blush to darken up the corners of my eyes for some added dimension.

Laura Mercier Caviar Sticks continue to be the most effortless way to add color and subtle sparkle to the lid. My favorite shade is Amethyst.

Glossier Lash Slick is perfect for nearly no-makeup days where I just use a tinted moisturizer and want a very natural lift for my lashes. Add some gloss and go!

Chanel Paris-Venise Eau de Toilette is the loveliest fragrance—fresh and warm all at once with tones of oriental accord, vanilla and tonka bean. I pair it with the lotion and feel wonderfully clean and feminine.

Byredo Unnamed has surprisingly become my favorite Byredo fragrance. On days I’m not wearing Venise, I’m wearing this. It’s a limited-edition fragrance without a name, with notes of spicy pink pepper, accord and warm, woodsy balsam fir. I love this one so much.
