I don’t know about you, but gosh, do I love and endorse the athleisure trend! I love the idea of being sporty in a chic way, it’s not just practical, but you can build a look that’s really fashionable too. I’m especially obsessed with joggers and embellished anything and everything.

This week, I thought I’d share some of my favorite looks and tips on how to style it all.

Pick a pant

First off, start with your favorite casual pant, be it a jogger or legging. I love everything high waisted and I own more joggers than I care to admit. #noregrets

Bralette or sports bra?

Depending on what you’ll be wearing as a top, choose a sports bra or bralette. It’s all about comfort! And if you can show off your strappy sports bra or lacy bralette, even better!

Choose a top

You can either do a cami or tank top if you plan to wear some outerwear, or if it’s not too chilly, grab yourself a sweatshirt or casual t-shirt. I love the over-sized tees at Target—you can partially tuck one to the side of your pant, for a more on-trend look. I also love sweatshirts that have a little somethin’ somethin‘ going for them, whether they be embellished in some way, or have some cool criss-cross action or cut-outs.

Pop on a jacket

If you love layering as much as I do, or it’s chilly that day, throw on a denim, moto or even leather jacket for a chic, edgy vibe. I also use oversized, cozy sweaters or bomber jackets. Play with where your cami/top falls vs your jacket… have some fun with it!

Slip into some stylish sneakers

My favorite part of the process! Ya’ll know from seeing my collection over time that I love a good sneaker, whether it be a super comfy slip on, or a lace-up high-top, or even better, something studded or embellished. There are so many to choose from these days!
