My Current Go-To Blushes

NARS GOULUE + SEDUCTION + AMOUR

When it comes to blushes, NARS is one of the first brands I look to. I love the formula and the range of colors available in both matte and shimmers. I have about four or five shades, but my favorites are Goulue and Seduction. Goulue is a warm berry with gold shimmer, while Seduction is a luminous berry burgundy. They both look amazing.

HOURGLASS EUPHORIC FUSION

I love love love Hourglass products… I think they are totally worth the money and have the most stunning finish on the skin, especially when the light hits it. The blushes are no exception… really finely milled and highly pigmented. This blush here, Euphoric Fusion — a warm plum, is one of my top two super faves and has a gorgeous shimmer that blends beautifully into the skin.

MAC HUSHED TONE + PETAL POWER

A few months back I discovered the Mac Extra Dimension blush in Hushed Tone and it became an immediate fave (a warm copper), well, just the other day I decided to try the Mineralize blush and OMG it’s amazing. This blush — Petal Power (coral pink with gold shimmer) — is beyond gorgeous and is my new absolute fave. And just this weekend, I added Love Thing (burgundy with gold pearl) to my collection.

JOUER BLUSH BOUQUET IN FLIRT

I love my Jouer lippies and when this blush duet released, I wanted to give it a go. These colors in the Flirt duo are so pretty and I would say are light on the pigmentation spectrum, ideal for those looking for a natural flush on the skin. Also, the floral blush packaging is gorg.

GLOSSIER HAZE

I love using this berry gel-cream blush in Haze on days when I have little to no makeup on. It looks very natural, and I apply it with my fingers.

SWATCHES

I’d love to hear which ones are your faves! Comment below.

This riff tries to capture so much of what is great about guitar. It celebrates open & barre chords, it celebrates clean and distorted single coil tones, it derives from a number of Fender-playing influences. Like guitar, I get it and it gets me. @Fender #UltraRiffContest
