When it comes to home decor, books are my favorite thing to use as a way to add interest, and as a way to say something about what our interests are. I also think books are a great way to layer in a room, and you can even use them to add a pop of color if so desired. Stack them by a window, or on a surface with a decorative object on top. Style multiple styles on a coffee table, then add in some oversized beads or a candle too.
I love books on interiors & home decor more than anything, so here are the ones I own.
These are all fairly substantial books. The Paris and Vogue book are the largest and thickest (from a footprint standpoint), and my faves are probably Home Body and the two Kinfolk books as I love their look on a table. And of course, they are all so wonderful to look through, especially Florilegium. The Pottery Barn books I’ve owned for a long time and I have referenced them many times over the years.
