Dane's Storm
By Mia Sheridan

Review: Dane’s Storm

With Dane’s Storm, Mia Sheridan delivers a riveting, heartfelt, edge-of-your-seat second-chance romance. It had everything we’ve come to expect in a Mia romance—that sweeping, all-consuming immersion in a love story interrupted by time or circumstance, but this book had the added element of suspense, which took it to a completely different level.

We first meet Audra, whose quiet life centers around her flower shop. It’s been years since she’s seen her ex-husband Dane—a wealthy businessman and the only man she’s ever loved. The divide between them was deep, the pain from the circumstances of their breakup a topic she keeps locked inside, tight.

But when an unwelcome surprise sends her reeling and threatens her entire livelihood, she’s forced to seek Dane out—he’s the only one with the power to save her.

In a brutal twist of fate however, Dane and Audra’s plane crashes into a snowy mountaintop as a storm rages around them. They must depend on each other to survive, and for Audra, that means breaking down the walls she’s built between them. Trouble is, with her defenses down, the past breaks her open all over again, and slowly, truths come to light that could change everything.

Dane’s Storm is an Audible exclusive, and as you all know, I love listening to audio books… love how the richness of the narrations have the power to ratchet suspense, to draw you in deeper into a story. With this story in particular, the horrifying circumstances in which they find themselves comes alive in a way that really made you feel. I couldn’t stop listening to it, caught up in both their love story and in their literal survival.

The Kindle version is out in September, but don’t delay—this is a great audiobook to pick up and get lost in.
