My Eye Shadow Palettes

It’s no secret I love makeup, and specifically that I have an affinity for eye shadow palettes… I mean… the colors, the shimmer, the possible combinations! They are irresistible!

I’ve been putting together my own palette using the Z palette box and single shadows from Anastasia and Makeup Geek. Both of these brands make fantastic, finely milled, highly pigmented shadows, although MG is a bit less expensive.

Today, I’m sharing which singles make up my two palettes.

I also have a second, smaller palette with some warmer tones:

Palette #1:

  • MG Roulette – Rosy, burnt sienna with shimmery finish
  • MG Cosmopolitan – Rose gold with gold flecks and shimmery finish
  • ABH Sunset – Metallic copper penny
  • ABH China Rose – Rosy peach metallic
  • ABH Hot Chocolate – Warm dark brown
  • ABH Suede – Gold suede
  • MG Homecoming – Medium brown with gold shimmer
  • MG Lucky Penny – Medium  rose brown with shimmery finish
  • MG Curtain Call – Cranberry red with a foiled finish (gorg!)
  • ABH Love Letter – Satin boysenberry pink (one of my top faves)
  • MG Shimma Shimma – Metallic champagne
  • MG Wild West – Rich rose brown
  • ABH Comfort – Antique copper
  • MG Grandstand – Medium rose gold with slight taupe undertones and foiled finish (top fave!)
  • ABH Rich Velvet – Burgundy with silver sparkle
  • MG Cherry Cola – Deep brown with strong red undertones
  • ABH Dusty Rose – Dusty lilac
  • ABH Pink Champagne – Shimmery pink
  • MG Bedrock – Medium gray with strong brown undertones
  • MG Cinderella – Pale shimmery pink
  • MG Luna – Medium rose gold with foiled finish
  • MG Sensuous – Warm plum with a frost finish
  • ABH Noir – Deep carbon black
  • MG Aphrodite – Deep plum brown
  • MG Americano – Dark brown with subtle purple undertones
  • MG Twilight – Pale shimmery muted purple

Palette #2:

  • ABH Birkin – Warm beige mauve (great color to start off with before you layer in more color)
  • ABH Custard – Warm sand
  • MG Tan Lines – Fawn brown
  • ABH Penny Metal – Metallic light copper
  • MG Sidekick – Cinnamon brown
  • ABH Moss – Sage green
  • MG Cocoa Bear – Matte reddish brown
  • ABH Tiger’s Eye – Duo chrome patina gold (so pretty!)
