Finding the perfect rug is almost as difficult as finding the perfect pair of jeans. You have to balance the color palette in the space, the patterns you have, and somehow, in the words of The Dude, really tie the room together. These are all rugs we have in our home, plus a couple more I’m coveting. These are all beautiful choices (and my faves), in a variety of price ranges, both modern and traditional.
We have this olive & charcoal rug in our kitchen and love the warm tones of it. It’s vintage style looks amazing with a variety of colors too.
Rich blues in beautiful patterns adorn this vintage-style rug with tones of taupe and olive. We have this one as a runner in our primary bath.
This distressed terracotta and blue rug makes huge impact at a steal. We have a 5×8 in our office.
Hand knotted in deep blues and browns, this one is stunning (and pricey). It’s on my “coveting list.”
This is the current rug of my dreams. It’s an antique beauty in beautiful deep shades of brown—feel like it’s the perfect foundation for any room, but sadly, it’s so pricey.
This sisal and wool combo is both durable and modern—we have it in our powder bath.
I fell in love with this rug immediately. Love the menswear vibe to it. This welcomes guests in our entryway.
The photo of this rug doesn’t do it justice. Beautiful in neutral tones of taupe and grays, and perfect in our bedroom.
The current rug in our living room. Love the understated pattern to it.
A steal and a Target classic. I’ve owned both the gray and cream version and somehow, I never tire of this one.
