Favorite Things December

December was mostly about finding the perfect gifts for my loved ones, but I did manage to find some new faves!

I loved the Natasha Denona Mini Glam palette. Beautiful shimmery and matte hues at an affordable price, plus, I feel like these shades are super wearable on the daily. And because it’s ND, the shadows glide on wonderfully and buttery smooth.

I also splurged on a couple of home items. The first is a modern, marble side table for our living room. We love it so much! Lots of space on top, and I love that it’s statement in its simplicity.

We also invested in this gorgeous two-arm floor lamp. Our living space was falling heavily on the traditional side and I wanted a modern piece to balance it all out. This lamp was exactly what we needed, and we use Hue smart bulbs to control the temperature of the light.

After visiting family for Thanksgiving, I picked up my guitar again. I played acoustic in high school, but dropped the hobby in college. My husband Tony had picked it back up earlier this year, and he inspired me to start playing again, although this time, I invested in my first electric guitar. I opted for the Squier Mustang and I love it so. Beautiful sound with two humbuckers, it’s a really great entry-level electric guitar.

For Christmas, my husband surprised me with this Kate Spade Croc Embossed crossbody bag and I have been wearing it every day! I love the size, love the deep green color, and the convenience and ease of the on-the-go crossbody. It’s definitely a new favorite thing and right now it’s 40% off!!! 🙂

Lastly, and not an item, I binge watched the show Virgin River on Netflix and it was soooo good! If you love small-town romance, you’ll fall in love with this story based on the books by Robyn Carr. I can’t wait for Season 2!
