Synopsis

Corinne Michaels is quickly becoming an auto-buy romance author for me. Her love stories have a way of pulling me in with their honesty, tension and emotion. I’ve become entirely entranced with every book of hers I’ve read and this one proved no different. It’s my favorite kind of love story, my emotional kryptonite—a second chance romance that spans many years, making the tangled feels burrow deep and promising a heart-wrenching journey. I can’t get enough. Presley and Zachary’s story is rife with heartbreak and betrayal, tears and longing, but also defined by a love that comes only once in a lifetime.

Presley and Zach were the love story everyone in town wanted for themselves. They grew up together, fell in love, planned their happy ever after with promises of forever, always and ’til death do us part. Both were determined to chase down their dreams and leave behind their small town. But soon after they left for college, he shattered her heart, leaving her broken and betrayed.
