Beauty Review: Tatcha Dewy Skin Cream

Beauty Review: Tatcha Dewy Skin Cream

I love all things Tatcha… I especially love the Dewy Skin Mist (I mean, really, who doesn’t?). So imagine my excitement when I heard Tatcha was taking all the goodness of the mist and infusing it into a cream you can use daily?!

I didn’t hesitate.

What is it, exactly? The Dewy Skin Cream is a rich, antioxidant-packed cream that both hydrates and delivers a dewy, healthy glow. It’s purple in color with a creamy, buttery texture.  Japanese Purple Rice is rich in anthocyanins and helps protect skin against environmental stressors and UV Damage. Okinawa algae blend and hyaluronic acid replenish—and keep—skin’s natural moisture levels while other botanical extracts from ginseng to wild thyme and sweet marjoram nourish skin.

I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and fell in love with this new moisturizer from first use. My favorite thing is that it feels rich and substantial without being heavy. For reference, I prefer the Silk Cream to the Water Cream and my skins tends to be combo-dry, so the richness feels wonderful on my skin. Plus, it’s immediately plumping—wow.

I’ve been using it as my day moisturizer and it works beautifully on its own and under makeup. The cream is lightly illuminating—it isn’t this crazy, unnatural glow. Just this beautiful, dewy illumination perfect as we move closer to Spring and Summer. But even better, it’s also ideal for hydration-thirsty winter skin.

This new cream is really a must have. Well done, Tatcha.

Below are my Tatcha faves…
