WEEKLY RECAP

Another incredible week of reads! This Girl by Colleen Hoover really blew my mind and earned my highest rating of 6 stars! I kept thinking THIS is how a POV book is done right. It was perfectly structured and it felt fresh from beginning to end. Now, I’m even more excited for Losing Hope, which is the companion to Hopeless in Holder’s POV. Losing Hope will be released July 9th. A special thank you to Colleen this week for reading and promoting my review and choosing someone to win a signed copy of Hopeless from those who commented on my blog!!! (I don’t think she’s chosen a winner yet) She also sent me a sweet email back and I bow down to her for being so nice when she is so successful. It really makes a blogger’s day to get these kinds of thoughtful emails, comments or gestures when we work so hard for these amazing authors.
She totally made my week!

The big surprise read of the past week was Lost & Found by Nicole Williams…
I absolutely LOVED it and can’t wait to tell you about it later this coming week
when I publish my review.

It’s a tie!

This Girl by Colleen Hoover (My review) – Amazing! An extended piece of poetry that is riveting from beginning to end! Beautiful, heartfelt, sincere and unforgettable! It was butterflying perfect!
Lost & Found by Nicole Williams – Angsty, real, relatable and super sexy!!! A story about a closed-off girl with a painful past that finds love, comfort and safety in an unlikely place. It’s a story where labels like “freak” and “emo” and “goth” begin to slip away and all that matter is family, love and happiness. So.freaking.good. (CRASH series fan, you will LOVE this book!)
