The Sunday Snapshot – Week of June 17th

WEEKLY RECAP:

Happy Father’s Days to all the dads out there! To our hubbies… thanks for letting us get lost in our Kindle day after day… for watching the kids when we’re “at a really good part”… when you don’t say anything after we tell you we’ll be done in just “one more chapter.” 🙂

This week I didn’t get to finish all the books I set out to read with a lot of other blog work that had to get done, but with two weeks left to go until Book Bash and a flood of amazing new releases, it’s almost too overwhelming to know what to read next!

I get asked about the teaser graphics I make all the time… I’m making more of them every day for not only my blog, but also for authors and for other bloggers. I do have a pinterest page full of them, so click here to follow my board.

MUST READ OF THE WEEK:

fate series

  • A Matter of Fate (#1, Fate) and A Matter of Heart (#2, Fate) by Heather Lyons – WOW WOW WOW! What a riveting, emotion-filled series!!! LOVING IT!!! The first book totally gripped me, heart and soul, intrigued me and left me with such a book hangover that I had to take a break to process all my feelings! But the break didn’t last long, because I couldn’t stop thinking about it and I plunged straight back into book 2, which so far is as good as the first! A Matter of Heart will be released June 25th.

This riff tries to capture so much of what is great about guitar. It celebrates open & barre chords, it celebrates clean and distorted single coil tones, it derives from a number of Fender-playing influences. Like guitar, I get it and it gets me. @Fender #UltraRiffContest
