Things I Don’t Regret Buying in 2022

These are some of my favorite purchases from 2022 — items I love which exceeded my expectations and are in constant rotation.

  • CELINE TRIOMPHE MEDIUM

This is the thing I wanted the most when I traveled to Paris and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. Love the classic silhouette and the gold Triomphe closure is absolutely stunning. Best of all, the bag is incredibly roomy and will surely stand the test of time.

  • POLENE BAGS

These are beautiful, high-quality luxury bags, but without quite the enormous price tag of others you know. A couple of years ago, I invested in my first bag — a Numero Neuf — from this French retailer, and this year, I added two (and one more on the way) to my collection: two Numero Un bags — one in Taupe, one in Caramel and a Numero Un Nano in Black Lizard. Mark my words, these bags are poised for explosive popularity in 2023.

  • EVERLANE 80s BLAZER

The blazer look is so timeless and overall, Everlane touts some of my very favorite, most worn clothing items. These blazers are no exception… I love the oversized look (size down) and they are beautiful quality pieces that will last.

  • PRADA MONOLITH LOAFERS

I wanted these for what seems like forever before I finally purchased (as they are for sure a pricey investment). I love the chunky silhouette so very much and they seemed very ‘me.’ I won’t lie — they need significant breaking in — but once you wear them often enough they are super comfortable and they look fabulous. I wear them all the time now and love them so much.

  • J.CREW CROPPED CASHMERE SWEATER

These are undoubtedly my most worn sweaters this past year. They are a modern take on a classic look that’s perfect for capsule wardrobes. Cashmere makes them super soft and comfy to wear, but certainly a long-lasting investment in your wardrobe. I own in black, gray, beige and navy… and often wear a monochromatic look with the Abercrombie pants below or with the J.Crew satin skirt. True to size.

  • ABERCROMBIE WIDE LEG TAILORED PANTS

These are a closet staple for me… I literally own pretty much every color, which took some time because they are forever selling out. They have a flattering fit and you can easily dress them up or down. Abercrombie has a few versions of the original silhouette now, all great. True to size.

  • BEAUTY OF JOSEON SUNSCREEN

There is a reason this product is a cult fave… it’s the absolute best sunscreen I’ve worn. 50+ SPF,  zero white cast and feels really great on my skin. It’s a steal for just $16 if you can find it in stock on Amazon or other Korean skincare retailers.

  • RARE BEAUTY LIQUID BLUSH IN ENCOURAGE

I use this daily and usually, for both cheeks and shadow. It’s super versatile and easy to apply and looks absolutely. Encourage is my favorite shade, but they are all beautiful.

  • GLOW SERUM WATERMELON GLOW NIACINAMIDE DEW DROPS

I was late to the game with this one as I know many people have loved it for a long time, but this year, it became one of my ride or die products. I personally use it at the end of my primer and before my tinted moisturizer. It gives me that natural, dewy glow and make my skin feel so hydrated. Can never ever run out of this one.

  • JORDAN 1 ELEVATE SNEAKERS

Jordan 1s are my favorite sneaker silhouette and I knew I had to have these the minute I saw them. I love the platform sole and they have been my everyday sneaker since I got them. They fit true to size.
