I’ve been loving living in YA world lately and can’t seem to get enough of it! Between reading the adventure/fantasy novel, The Queen of the Tearling, falling in love with Stephanie Perkin’s books (see Must Read of the Week) and being completely enthralled by the Mara Dyer series by Michelle Hodkin, I have been having so much fun going back to reading these wonderful coming of age stories. Check out these novels and I hope you enjoy them as much as I have!

Must Read of the Week

I LOVED THESE BOOKS!!! I had the pleasure of meeting author Stephanie Perkins at RT this past May and picked up my copy of Anna and the French Kiss. This series of interconnected standalones are YA romances that are wonderfully uplifting and completely addictive. I read the first two books in one day… they were THAT good!

Anna and the French Kiss chronicles the story of a girl who attends boarding school in Paris, only to fall for a boy that quickly becomes her best friends. Lola and the Boy Next Door is about two misfits of sorts, a girl who is unapologetically colorful and unique, and the geeky boy next door she fell in love with so long ago… whom also broke her heart. The third book, Isla and the Happily Ever After will be out August 14th and I cannot wait to read it!
