I’ve read some great books recently too. Loved Beauty and the Mustache by Penny Reid, which will be out this week on the 28th. It’s a standalone romance that’s quirky and original with wonderfully deep character development and a hero that makes me swoon big time. Also listening to the Violet Eden books on Audible. These are paranormal romance books by Jessica Shirvington and I am so damn hooked!!! Half the time, I don’t know whether to read what I’ve got going on my Kindle or just listen to these on Audible all day long! The first book is called Embrace. Beauty and the Mustache by Penny Reid
Loved this story about a woman who comes home to be with her sick mother after being gone for eight years. She returns to see how much has changed with her six brothers, whom she had been enstranged from, realizing she had missed so much. She also meets Drew, a Viking-looking quiet, intelligent man who seems to be close to her family in a way she can’t figure out, all the while unsettling her in ways she never expected.
Loved the story. Loved the writing. Loved the character depth and originality!
