VBB Weekly – 10.19.2015
This week was epic! I had so much fun at Kristen Ashley’s Rock Chick Rendezvous in Phoenix. Lots of book chats, dancing and laughing, and I can’t wait to do it all again in the future!
Plus… while traveling, I started one of my most anticipated books of the year—Illuminae by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff. I thought it would take me all weekend to get through 600 pages, but it took me less than 24 hours. I WAS HOOKED. This book is unlike anything I’ve ever read. Touting a nontraditional format, the story unwinds in classified files, instant messages, schematics, medical reports and more. It was full of heart and suspense, horror and action. It honestly took my breath away. Order now here—I guarantee you’ll fall in love with Kady and Ezra’s story too. (My review)
