VBB Weekly – 11.04.13
On Saturday, I concluded this year’s Paranormal Week and it was so much fun!!! I was both thrilled to see so many people love the books I featured as well as see so many people that had not read them and were ready to give them a try! Below is the recap of the series! Plus, don’t forget to enter the giveaway here!
I also had the opportunity to attend Houston Book Rave and assist one of my very favorite authors, Jennifer L. Armentrout! It was especially exciting because it was also the release weekend of Sentinel and I was torn between fangirling over her and actually reading her book!!! (Is that weird?!) So um… yea… I kinda read… (she understands, right… it’s Aiden!!!)
I also met some other pretty amazing authors I hadn’t yet met like L.B. Simmons, Olivia Cunning and Katy Evans, which was very cool! They were all so incredibly nice! Here are a few pics!
I also felt quite re-energized when it came to YA. I haven’t been reading as much YA as I used to and there are series that I have and have not yet had a chance to read. One example is the Soul Screamers series by Rachel Vincent! I’ll be picking this up really soon!

Must Read of the Week
I’m on a Covenant series high right now, of course, I’m not even halfway through Sentinel and it’s blowing me away! This is such an exceptional series… it’s a well-balanced mix of romance, action and suspense with two really unforgettable protagonists. In case you missed it, read more about these books on my PW spotlight or check out the reading order page for info and purchase links!
New Releases
Forgiving Lies(#1, Forgiving Lies) by Molly McAdams – Sizzling, funny, and deeply emotional tale of passion and secrets, deception and forgiveness.
Beautiful Player (#3, Beautiful Bastard) by Christina Lauren – A bombshell bookworm. A chronic Casanova. And a lesson in chemistry too scandalous for school. This is part of the Beautiful Bastard series, but can be read as a standalone.
Greed (#2, Seven Deadly Series) by Fisher Amelie – A moving, transformational story about finding love and redemption. (My review)
Undertow by Amber Lynn Natusch – This is Amber Lynn Natusch’s debut contemporary romance novel and it’s fabulous. It’s a poignant story about love, forgiveness and boldly facing your fears. (My review)
Sentinel (#5, Covenant) by Jennifer L. Armentrout – The exciting, epic conclusion of the paranormal romance Covenant series!
Rebel (#1, Rebel) by Elle Casey – A new NA romance series about a girl who loses her life of privilege and then unexpectedly meets a different kind of rebel alltogether as she continues to try and make it herself.
