The Resurrection of Aubrey Miller by L.B. Simmons

I loved this new book from L.B. Simmons. It was bold and beautiful, both dark and hopeful. This is an emotional story about a girl who believes she brings death to those she loves. After suffering the loss of the people she loved the most, she withdraws into herself, creating a facade to shield herself — and others — from the pain she carries. L.B. Simmons did an amazing job of making my feel every up and down, truly keeping me invested in this girl’s story of transformation. Highly recommend you pick this one up!
