Must Reads of the Week

Black Lies by Alessandra Torre

I absolutely loved this story. It was not what I expected at all in the best possible way. It was a bold, seductive, suspenseful and brilliantly layered, keeping me utterly riveted. The novel follows Layana Fairmont’s struggle of loving two men. Two men who couldn’t be more different. Two men she couldn’t let go of. But it’s not your typical love triangle story. There is so much more than what you think. There are secrets and opposing forces, all which when come to be revealed changes everything about the story. It’s incredibly sexy and captivating and I assure you that you won’t be able to put this down!

Bright Side by Kim Holden

This book consumed me with the most amazing characters and a story that simutaneously filled me with hope and destroyed me with an overflow of emotion. The story centers on Kate, a girl nicknamed Bright Side for her unfailing positivity, and the relationships she carries and reates… the most beautiful being with her best friend, Gus. It’s an unforgettable story of love and loss, friendship and hope and it has that lingering effect that makes the story stick with you long after you’ve read it.
